The Belding High School Band Boosters have established a benefit fund to offer a specified number of scholarships to help with students costs for Marching Band. These scholarships only cover a portion of the total, students will still be responsible for the remaining portion of the bill through personal contribution and/or fundraising.
To apply for a scholarship, write a letter to the committee requesting the scholarship. Include any pertinent information that would assist them in assessing the need.
All letters can be turned into your band director in a sealed envelope with the words "Student Benefit Fund" on the front. They will then place it in the Band Booster box to be delivered to the committee. All letters should be submitted by the band photo day June 2.
All letters will be read and discussed within an appointed committee from the band boosters. Members have signed a confidentiality agreement and will not discuss the matters of the letters outside of the committee.
This fund has been established through loving contributions in memory of family members that have passed away recently. To contribute to this account so that more students can be assisted contact Mr. Schnicke at 616-794-4910.
